2018, we saw some Unique Lehenga Hues. Splurge in the Lehenga Color Trends can be seen in some Celebrity Weddings - Isha Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Sagarika Ghatge, Niti Mohan to name a few.

Other than the Wedding Theme, the Bridal Fashion and Style always depends on good color and combination of shades and theme, to create best shades to enhance the beauty and personality of the bride.

Anushka Sharma, adorned the blush pink pastel lehenga by Sabyasachi back in 2017 and since then the pastel hues of green, golden, purple, blue were spotted resulting in a complete makeover of bridal lehengas, but despite that, nothing beats the surreal charm and quintessence of Red Wedding Lehengas. In recent weddings Golden or Champagne Coloured Lehengas are making their presence known. Let's check the Hot Wedding Lehenga Trends which would dominate this season.

1. Classic Red Lehenga: Red being the traditional color would always trend. Remember the Celebrity Brides - Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor. Deepika adorned Red Sabyasachi Lehenga.

What you might have missed Deepika's lehenga no doubt had all the antique zari and sequined embellishments, however what stood out was her dupatta with Hindu Matra, 'sada saubhagyawati bhava' embroidered all along on the patti.

2. Heavy Embroidered Pastel Lehenga:

Pastels might look like dull and boring however it is ethereal, dreamy and exudes charm and elegance. What works as a magic with pastel lehengas is the contrast. Mint Green, Powdered Blue and Grey and Blush Pink, are hot favorite, in Pastel Lehenga other than Peach Pink and Soothing Yellow.

3. Vintage Floral Lehenga:

Florals are fun and add freshness. Printed and Big bright, Bold Embroidered and Applique work creates a whole bunch of thread work drama and someone who loves vintage feel, these Embroidered Vintage Floral Lehengas are perfect! Floral Lehenga with net dupatta is going to be the trend in 2019 and 2020.

Designer Tarun Tahiliani' s BLOOM with Multicolor thread and Resham work is one of my favorite in this trend. Check the thread work details.

4. Unique Hues Blend Banarsi Lehenga:

If you are looking for a lightweight Lehenga then you would love this. Contrasting and Unique Bright Hues such as orange and red and fuchsia pink with soothing yellow would make a perfect bridal look. Orange being a bright color however the hue is close to red, a combination of both red and orange with some embroidery work would up the game. One would think orange is an unconventional color, however if worked out with some contrast it enhances the bride's overall appeal. Banarsi and Jamavaar prints with intricate Kashida Kari and Zari Work would make you add this Lehenga style to your list this season. Designer who nailed this look this season in Tarun Tahiliani

5. Dramatic Silver and Gold:

2018, we saw Celebrity brides, Sagarika Ghatge, spotted Grey Organza Lehenga onher reception night. Remember, Shloka Mehta donned the Golden Lehenga with golden cut-work, kat-daana shimmery boat-neck choli and a beautiful jadau kamar-bandh, which had a brooch in the middle and contrasting green motifs dangling from the same.

6. Embellished Brocade Lehenga:

We are suckers for Brocade Fabric with those intricate zardozi and embroidered work. It is a rich fabric woven with a raised design and resembles embroidered material created with extra weft threads and the fabric is woven on the loom. Originally Brocade Fabric is made of silk fibers. Khushi Kapoor dolled up at Isha Ambani’s pre-wedding festivities wearing a blue banarasi brocade lehenga by Manish Malhotra.

The Luxury of Banarasi Brocade Brocade is a heavy fabric with different coloured silk or metallic threads, also known as zari, and is woven into the base fabric to form a pattern. We absolutely this the trend the most, it has all the traditional elements and luxury combined into it.

7. Royal Blue and Yellow Hue Lehenga:

Remember Saina Nehwal's Royal Blue Lehenga by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Rich Indigo Velvet Lehenga, which was embroidered with intricate zardozi, applique designs encrusted with pearls and crystals. It was a complete Royal Look with Velvet Side Dupatta and the Pink Net on the head with jewelry from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry Collection.
