Well in this Editorial, we are reviewing the Biotique Bio - Fruit Whitening and Depigmentation Face Pack. Even before I jump in with the review, let me tell you Biotique Products are 100% Vegan and Cruelty Free other then being SLS and Paraben Free, which makes it my favorite as it is safe on skin.
What is Biotique Bio - Fruit Whitening and Depigmentation Face Pack -
Biotique Bio - Fruit Whitening and Depigmentation Face Pack is blended with fruit juices of pineapple, tomato, lemon and papaya and claims to lighten skin for a fairer, flawless look.
Pineapples are believed to be Natural Exfoliators, and the pineapple juice contains Vitamin C and Beta-Carotene, which protects skin from Sun Damage, helps reduce wrinkles. Vitamin C we know it helps with collagen rebuilding.
Biotique Bio - Fruit Whitening and Depigmentation Face Pack is a clay based detoxifying, cleansing and brightening face mask. The reason why chose this Pack as this comes with Fruit Juices which we have been using at home, and though I might try natural home remedies, however at times I have limited time resources and hence I consider relying on Biotique Products is safe for my skin.
Tomato Juice helps treat acne and sunburns and helps boost the skin texture. Papaya Juice not just clears pigmentation, it hydrates the skin and reduces wrinkles
Ingredients - Fuller's Earth or Multani Mitti, Geru, Yasad hhasma (Yasad bhasma), Tamator (Lycopersicum esculentum), Ananas (Ananas comosus), Kikargaund (Acacia Arabica), Paste
Geru Powder is mostly used in hawan and has cooling properties. It works as an astringent and is believed to have medicinal uses as well. Geru Powder is a clay powder and this is what gives the Biotique Bio - Fruit Whitening and Depigmentation Face Pack its geru color. Yasad hhasma or Bhasma is pure Zinc Oxide, which acts a natural sun defense mechanism.
Packaging -
This face pack comes in two different packaging styles - Tube, bright red tube with a green flip top cap and Jar, however tube seems more hygienic if you are sharing it with someone. The face pack is brick red in color, that is because of Geru Powder and has amazing fruity fragrance (of course because of the fruit juices)!! However the Face Pack is really thick and I personally either damp my face or at times prefer adding some rose water just to smoothen it further as I prefer using light coat.
How to Use -
Cleanse your face, with Rose Water (personally, I use Rose Water-Dabur Gulabari, spray directly from the bottle such that it damps my skin), and then apply the Face Pack leaving the eyes and the mouth area. You might feel a soft tingling sensation on the skin and that's because of tomato, lemon and pineapple juices. Leave its for 5-8 minutes and then wash off with water. Now my Skin is Normal to Oily and is prone to dullness when comes in contact with pollution and sunrays, so this has worked great for me reason - I apply every alternate day and feel fresh and it does brightens the skin tone leaving my skin soft and smooth!!

If you are looking for Skin Whitening & Depigmentation, then it does not whiten the skin color, however it brightens your skin tone. Understanding what causes Pigmentation is equally important and that's exposure to UV Rays and believe me pigmentation that you on on your face recently, is the result of the damage caused to your skin about a decade ago or so. Hence it is extremely important to take care of your skin and protect it from harmful UV rays even in Winters!!
You get that squeaky and velvety textured feel. With regular use you will notice that your Skin Tone improves but do not expect immediate results. So even it does not remove pigmentation, this pack a must have in your vanity box!
I am against any product that claims to whiten the skin color, and my reason of purchasing this was only because it comes with fruit juice extracts and my love for clay packs. I feel what is important is to have healthy skin regime and @ThePopUpFeed, we would never false review any product.
